Chuck and his wife Deb have been married since January 1973. They have five children who are all grown and married. They have nine grandchildren (and counting). Chuck and Deb have been blessed and the Lord has truly “filled their quiver.”
Chuck and Deb came to the Lord late in their lives (44 years old) and are a living example of the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard (Matthew Chapter 20); meaning Chuck and Deb were hired late in the day (their lives) to work the harvest field.
Chuck serves approximately 4 – 5 months a year in South Sudan at the Chaplains training center in Nimule. While he is “in country” Chuck teaches God’s Word to the chaplain and pastor student’s. He is also very much involved in teaching ladies bible studies at the Sudanese Army Barracks as well at other churches located off the compound in various villages.
When Chuck is not in Sudan he serves at the Far Reaching Ministries office in Murrieta assisting office staff and traveling for speaking engagements on behalf of Far Reaching Ministries.
Chuck was ordained in 2003 at Calvary Chapel of Running Springs located in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains where he and his wife have lived since 1989. Chuck continues to also serve their as an assisting Pastor.
Chuck and Deb are originally from Northeast Ohio. Chuck retired from the United States Air Force in 1995 after 20 years serving his country. He also retired from San Bernardino County as a Peace Officer in 2006 to respond to his call from the Lord to go to the mission field full time. The Lord called Chuck and Deb to Far Reaching Ministries in May of 2005.
